## Frequently asked questions

### How can I find my certificate?

If you are an eSafetyFirst customer: [log in to your account](https://esafetyfirst.com/my-account/) and download a copy of your certificate at any time.

If you took your training with a different company, we cannot retrieve it for you. As a private company we store only our own customers’ records, so contact the company that issued your certificate.

### Do you provide in-person or classroom training?

No. We do not provide in-person or classroom training, and we have no plans to.

Our courses are delivered online; blended programs pair our online theory with hands-on practice that your own workplace provides.

### Are eSafetyFirst courses recognized in the industry?

Our courses are developed by trained professionals following Canadian safety standards, and are built to meet and exceed the OHS requirements and the latest CSA standards — the benchmark that OHS regulators and workers’ compensation boards hold workplace training to.

Where a program also requires workplace-specific hands-on evaluation, that part is completed by your employer — see “What’s the difference between Online and Blended Training Courses?” above.

### How can I create an account on eSafetyFirst?

A customer account is created during checkout, where you set an email and password along with your billing details.

If you purchase courses for your employees, you do not need to create an account for each of them. After purchase, two options appear next to the course name:

i) “Start Course” — begins the presentation under the name set at checkout.

ii) “Train Someone Else” — asks for the first name, last name and (optionally) email address of the worker who should be assigned the course.

If you bought the program for someone else, click “Train Someone Else” and fill in their details.

### Do I have to assign the courses right after purchasing them?

No — course credits do not expire.

If you pay for 30 courses and end up using only 20, the remaining 10 credits stay in your account until you use them, with no expiration date.

### Is there a cost difference between the three training options?

No. Individual Training, Group Training and SCORM Dispatch draw on the same course credits, so the cost does not change with the option you choose. The difference is in how the training is delivered — pick whichever best fits your company’s setup and needs.

### Can I import your courses into our LMS?

Yes — through Course Licensing. Details are on the dedicated page: [https://esafetyfirst.com/training-options/](https://esafetyfirst.com/training-options/)

The function has a minimum requirement: at least 20 available credits for the targeted course. Once you meet it, a step-by-step process in your account creates your SCORM export file and sets how many individuals you wish to train this way. Your account shows how many credits remain in the dispatch, and you can add or remove seats as you wish.

Invited workers appear in the Manage Users tab of your User Panel, and you can download their certificates from there whenever you wish.

### What payment options are available?

You have several options for paying on eSafetyFirst:

- Card payments: credit or debit cards from Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. Prepaid cards are not accepted.

- PayPal: pay from your PayPal account or with a card through PayPal.

- Bank transfer: note that settlement takes a few working days.

- Wallet pay: Apple Pay or Google Pay, with a supported card saved on your device.
